I see you!

Todays post is two lovely pairs of glasses - one with sides and the other without. You could use these for so many things - I could definitely see these in a collage.

Also, today I wanted to let everyone know about the lovely creative blog I found called Knickertwist's that I just love - she's got an amazingly creative mind, especially when it comes to her use of antique and vintage ephemera and graphics. Go and check out her blog and you won't be disappointed!

The Original View Master

Remember those orange doo-hickies when you were a kid and you pressed down the lever and it went through a circle of different pictures? Well this is the original! Looking through the magnifying piece at the picture made you feel like you were right there in the picture :)

Rather grumpy Mountie

Or at least he looks like a mounty with that lovely hat - though he does look rather grumpy as he sits there - haha

Vintage Bereavement and Halloween

I found these slightly morbid graphics in an old catalogue - you could use them for some Halloween fun, or in a more sombre newsletter. I've provided a varying array of tombstones, some blank and some with names for you to pick and choose from.

Western Chaps and New Buttons!

This evenings graphic is a vintage image of western chaps from a riding catalog.

Also new today, you may have noticed on the left-hand side of the Attic, that there are some new buttons - these are buttons you can put in your blog to link back to the attic. The more people you tell about the attic, the more things I can post for every one on here for free, so please help spread the word!

Instructions: Within your blog, click on "Dashboard". Go to "Design or Layout". Click to add a widget - choose "picture" by clicking on the plus sign next to the picture option. Save either of the above graphics to your computer. Load the picture by clicking browse your computer from the options in the small box that has opened. Once the picture has loaded, enter the url: http://arachneasattic.blogspot.com, click Save, and you're all set!

Croquet

A cute early 1920's photographic I recently picked up - I can see isolating the fellow in the image and then using that for any vintage themed flyers for sporting events you have lined up :)

Vintage Bicycle

Because you never know when you'll need a bike graphic :D

Various Saddles

Todays post is various saddles - two Western and one English - these would look great in a country home, framed or even in a barn!

Vintage Buggies

Todays post is various antique buggies and horse drawn carriages. From the most simple available in the late 1800's to the more elegant and covered models available to the higher class. I didn't want to break these guys up and figured it would make it easier on everyone when it comes to searching if I did it this way.

Abraham Lincoln Look-Alike Contest

Okay, not really - but doesn't he look a lot like him? Maybe it's just the beard - either way, it's a pretty nifty image :)

Little Gentleman

This lovely little fellow has two cabinet shots in todays evening post. I kind of want the chair/couch he's got his arm on - I bet I could put that in the office and read!

Various Books

Various books from Bibles to medical guides :)

Dancers

A lovely Victorian couple dancing - the image is a bit small I think - but I just liked the look of it and thought I should include it :)

Country Family

Sadly this one has seen better days, but I loved her bonnet and posing with the baby is just cute :)

Paint can and Barrel

Todays graphics are paint cans - the first one is a more typical vintage container, and then on the bottom there's a barrel shaped one - you'll notice on the last one I posted, I've erased the wording, so you can put anything you want in there. Enjoy!
