My name is Jess(ica), I'm 25 years old and I live in Southern Ontario, Canada in the subburbs.
My husband and I moved here to Oshawa a year and a half ago with our two cats: Monkey and Merlin, our two dogs: Max and Jake, 2 red-eyed tree frogs: Baldur and Hel, 2 baby tarantula's (yet to be named) and plethora of tropical fish.
^ This adorable scamp is Jake, one of two rescue's we adopted in August 2009.
^ And this shaggy fellow is Max - Jake's brother (adopted August 2009 from a shelter in Oshawa)
^ This chunky brat of a cat is Monkey - the terror of the household. And usually the funniest.
I'm a giant geek, and I mean that in the nicest of ways. I love fantasy stuff, video games, computer and tech support jokes, brittish comedy, photography, cooking, baking, watching horror movies, comedies and documentaries, mail art, penpalling and any type of arts and crafts I can get my hands on. I've tried bookbinding, scrapbooking, envelope making - and I'm willing to try pretty much anything. The world is my crafty oyster!
I love pictures, illustrations and graphics and I love finding special books chalk full of vintage images to share with everyone.
What I'm going to do is post up to twice a day with a graphic each time - in some cases, I'll post the original scan with no real changes to it, along with the same image, but played with a little in Photoshop (my old old old version - lol) to make it easier to use the graphics for your artistic needs. Scrapbooking, crafting, mail art - the options are endless.
Every image is pre-1923, meaning they are ALL public domain and are free for you to use in your every day life any way you choose. Use the images however you wish, feel free to sell products featuring the images, or using them for your personal use.
My only request is that you do not create ephemera sheets out of them and sell them as your own. These images are free for everyone!
I would love to see how you've decided to use the image, but that is by no means necessary - I'm just curious :)
You don't have to link back to me, you don't have to name me - the images are all free :)
